Please help me identify these signs. Are these railroad or trucking company signs?

Yes to both questions. I believe you could call this the predecessor to UPS. Back in the day, you'd send you're package thru REA via the train and then once it reached the nearest station to it's destination, it could either be picked up at the station or trucked to the final destination. This style is the more modern (1950's) version; the older version has a dark green background with gold letters & red trim. Cool that you've got several of them.
