Back in the day, Christmas cards were just that. Christmas cards. As in "postcards". The vast majority early on, were lacking envelopes and were one sided without the "fold". The postage was one cent for domestic delivery and two cents if sent abroad. Here are 4 early examples from the mid 19-teens. All of the post cards I have posted are like new in almost perfect condition and have not been sent/used.
