Albatross Metal Ice Box

In 1978, I found this ice box in an old farm house one week before demolishing crews leveled it. I was going to mount shelves inside for my stereo. Almost everyone who has seen it has a story, me included.
My grandmother.........that's how most of the stories start.
My grandmother had a wooden ice box she used for storage on the rear porch. I believe my young sister still uses that one.
