An old family friend wants to find out age of these 2 pieces, I have no clue. one is a vanity and one is an old chest ornate mirror & locking drawers

The first and best one looks to be 1930's or early 1940's. It has some very nice Art Deco details. The best place I found to see them were the old catalogs of the different era's.
