Found together, Smithsonian has no idea, except maybe special shooting team, and can easily be restored. Not a cut countertop felt. camp Perry measures 7inches across, Remington, 4inch diameter. Any positive ID welcomed, not just guesses. May be military related, also keeping in mind, 1937 was first year of aggregate matches, rifle, pistol, at Camp Perry.
