Found this interesting Old Rocker today, we thought originally it was Mission Oak, but now not sure. Has a tiger oak finish, yet the carved arm rests appear to be cats or something in that genre. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I can't help too much with identifying it, but I have a similar chair but instead of tigers carved into the arms, mine are swans. I know that it is Victorian turn of the 20th Century oak.I would love to know what yours is and whether it is related to my rocker.
Hi Imnotrappaport: We took a closer look at our chair- no mfg markings, does yours have any markings or could you upload a picture of it- would love to see it! Ours arm rests are carved, and the front legs look carved too. We think its really unique and a great comfortable and solid rocker!
