This set was given to me as a gift for helping the neighbors children clear their mother's passed away. She had lived there for quite some time I believe it was over forty years or so....I always loved this particular set.
I do not plan on getting rid of this furniture however I am unable to find any identifying marks of any kind on the sofa or chair. I have looked under and in the cushions and also underneath of the pieces. Still nothing...
The sofa is almost 6 feet in length and extremely heavy!
I do not believe it to be real leather, fortunately it is in excellent condition with no tears or noticeable scratches. I'm not sure of the type of wood.

What a great gift! Looks like Naugahyde. Both are in super condition. I much prefer old furniture to new.

I agree! Today's furniture cannot compare to the quality and craftsmanship that old furniture was constructed with.
