Found this beautiful tobacco tin today at an antique store and is now my favourite in my collection. It is from the D. Ritchie Co, Imperial Tobacco Co of Canada from Montreal. The tin was made by the Thomas Davisdon Co Limited also from Montreal circa 1910. The tax excise stamp is clearly visable and still in great shape. Apparently they are rare according to collectors.
Yep indeed a very rare and unique tin haven't seen this example before the brand yes. Great find especially with the stamp
