This mural, on the inner base of Coit Tower in San Francisco, was either unlabeled, or I could not find the label. Nonetheless, it is beautiful, so I decided to share in regardless.
Coit Tower was built in 1933 with money provided by Lillie Hitchcock Coit to beautify the city and to honor the city's firefighters.
It stands on Telegraph Hill, where both the Inner Signal Station and First Western Telegraph Station sat in the mid-19th century.
