      I don't know about it's worth, but to me it's beautiful! This is my kind of stuff! I have a mirror for that backboard sitting in my porch!! I wish I lived closer, I would make you an offer you couldn't refuse!! Wow! ;)

      When this piece was made the top would have been a solid piece of marble or granite and one woould place a pitcher and bowl on top in the room for hand washing. That being said this piece has been modified to accept a bowl and faucets, I would think it would be kind of low to be very handy but it was anice idea especially for the children of the house. The wood on this one needs some serious help!!!

      Without looking really close I would say that this was mass produced in the Early 1900's, These are English and they didn't get indoor plumbing in some areas over there for a long time and many companies kept making these since they were useful.

      By the way, the modifications could have been done anytime in the past 100 years, even last year........
