I have this little snuff bottle that I purchased many years ago. the maker's marks on the top are an anchor, a left facing walking lion and the letter e. These are all in cartouche that have a double dip on the bottom of them. I foundc an A.L. Dennison mark that looks very similar but it said it was a watch case manufacturer. the hand painted bottle is ceramic perhaps and depcits a young man serenading a lady with a guitar or oher stringed instrument and is in excellent condition without a single scratch. the Cap is silver, it still has the original cordk circle embedded in the top and screws on nicely although it has a couple small dents. Otherwise it is in perfect condition. Can anyone tell me the origin, date range and possibly the value of my little bottle.
