This is a wooden toy soldier that is at least 65 years old... My friend remembers it from when she was a little girl and she is in her late 70's now... It is made of wood.... The paint is original red on top and brown bottom.... You can faintly see that there were gold markings on the red top like a uniform..... It comes apart like a nesting doll but it stores the extra pieces inside.... The green stick shows that where the arms should be it will slide all the way through the top... There is a hole in the top of the hat like something should be in there like a feather.... We cannot find any markings on it to indicate who made it.... We are interested in who made it... when they were made .... and possible value..... Thank you for your help....
