This is a gorgeous necklace. One of the first pieces I ever collected and it`s always been a mystery. The closure is marked Amael just like how I wrote it out. I`ve looked online and in books and can never find any mention of that name. If anyone knows anything, I`m dying to know. I bought it for 25 cents at a yard sale... how could anyone resist that? (ps this is my first show/tell post here so here`s hoping I don`t mess it up)

The necklace is beautiful. What are the stones?
They`re just clear rhinestones, prong set.
Hey, I actually just inherited a necklace and braclet(they are broken) but they also have amael with the same lettering. Have you ever learned any more about it?
Sorry it's such a late reply Janine, but no I still have no new info. Good to know someone else has found the same name though.
