I have 3 large coins that are about 3 inches wide. They say Liberty on top and MCMVII and a lady on teh front. On the back is an eagle with United States of America Twenty Dollars. These are really big. I read where these are worth a lot if they are real. My husband says they are just cup coasters. I would love for someone to tell me that I'm going to be rich!:-)Please let me know how to tell. THe 1st picture is before I cleaned them up. The last three I cleaned them with baking soda and toothpaste. Thanks!

I am sorry to tell you that much of their value was lost WHEN you cleaned them up.
What size are they across?

Oh no!!!! They are 3 inches.
Oh dear!!! NEVER clean a coin...EVER!
Are they fakes?
:-(
Please don't tell me I ruined them!!!!
I would still give you a couple of dollars for them ... ;-)
You did not "ruin" them ... but may have taken 100s of dollars off, if they are genuine.
For the most part... never "clean" coins that have any collector value. If in doubt, a good rule to follow is never clean coins!
If genuine, the gold at melted value is $1700.oo each. Over 5000.00 in gold.
Pricing by condition is below.

I do not know how current his prices are.
Oh wow! Well I found a picture online of some that look like them. It said they were fakes made to do majic tricks. I am hoping that is not ture!!!! I have looked my whole life for treasure and it would be totally awesome if I really found it. With my luck I doubt it though.
Diameter 34.1 mm (1.34252 in)
Good / bad news ... what you have are not genuine if they are 3 inches in diameter, which means you didn't ruin genuine 20 dollar gold pieces.
Thank you:-( do you know what they were used for or how old they really are? Do you think they are worth anything at all?
