I am 99% sure this is a Chippewa basket. This belonged to my grandmother whose father was 100% Chippawa and whose mother was from Norway.
Other than that, I know nothing about it. Any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Is there anybody out there who is an expert on native american items? If so, I would love to see your comments.
