Found these among my grandmothers things; the larger basket is approx. 12 inches diameter, the smaller basket is approx.10 inches. , and will nest inside the larger one. The larger baskets' decorations appear to be silk thread, beads, bracelet (which is broken)and what appears to be Asian or Oriental coins. I think they are woven from pine needles or perhaps grass. I'm wondering if they aren't 'sewing baskets' sold to tourists by Native Americans , as I've come across photos from a family trip to Yellowstone in the early 1920's.Any one have any ideas of origin, value?? Thanks !
