I love my lil collection.. Some rare, some not.. This is all of the black label 20th Century Fox Games.. The first year of the Atari is 1977 and they are referred to as "Heavy Sixers"..This Atari 2600 was made in Sunnyvale, Ca in 1978 and is called a "Light Sixer".. Shortly after this system was produced in Taiwan.. It has a "double white sticker" with a low serial number.. The box, box inserts and system all have matching serial numbers.. It's nice that the system says Made In Sunnyvale, Ca and the box even says Printed in the USA!!!

The box photo and your description indicate that you do actually have the heavy sixer, not the light sixer.

@Accutron if you look closely there is no chess piece on the box, which indicates the box&system were produced in 1977.. This IS a light sixer, the shielding around my unit is smaller than a heavy six.. Trust me, I wish it was a heavy Sixer... My unit is a six switch, but slightly different from the picture..
