I have never seen anything like this so if anyone can help me identify I would so appreciate it. I bought it for a dollar at a flea market- the man said it was old but that is all he said... maybe it is leather instead of wicker i cant tell .
I have 1 very similar, bought it in a flea market too, I'm also looking for answers. the only other basket/pottery pieces are for Ikebana, but it looks more like for sake. I love it though . .am very interested in wabi sabi ideal. . .
