My wife and I have had these for years, passed down from her mother and from her mother's father: 1. From Pennsyvania a Catholic reader, Preparation for Death: or Considerations On The Eternal Maxims. By St. Alphonsus M. Liguori, John Murphy Company Publishers, Baltimore, New York, cloth bound obviously very old.
2. Barnes's Elementary History of the United States, American Book Company, appears to be school book, last president entered is Taft 1908.
