This is a vintage, clear glass Key To The City of Toledo. It dates from the 1950s when Toledo was widely known as "The Glass City." It is 8 1/4" long, 2 3/4" high, 1/2" thick with a distinctive design. The words "TOLEDO .. KEY TO THE CITY" are boldly embossed on the shank.
We have two of these keys. The keys were awarded by the Mayor of Toledo. One key has the box.
