I have one almost identical but mine is missing the top half. My mother stripped it about 20 years ago I can remember it was black before she did it. Is yours original finish? Do you know the date of your piece? I ask because I always thought mine was from Europe for some reason and its interesting think its American. I love the dog too! Thanks
