Need some help in identifying this Antique Christmas ornament. As far as I can tell from the markings on the Bulb ( Schae), it is a 1886 Schaefer light bulb.......Same shape, filament and base type). Although the filament is broken, it is a very fascinating piece.
There is expected wear to the ribbon and basket material BUT I believe that for something 120 years old.........it is in fabulous condition!
I am sure there is a Christmas collector out there who has seen one. It is about 10" or so hanging.
And Help or info would be greatly appreciated. Email tnnrec@aol.com
