This is a unique and very different tea pot. It has a rooster at one end and a man figure at the other end. Has a snail on top of it. I bought this at a local goodwill about 5 years ago and it has been in several discussions. It is a rare piece I have found. I enjoy it

Hi Stansbury
The colour palette of this piece being and Sancai colour scheme would suggest Chinese in Origin. The spout being that of a Cockrell also points to Chinese in origin, snail finial is also another animal found in Chinese mythology. It would be very hard to tell but date wise could be anywhere between 400 yrs old to a recent early 20th century copy. Marks on the base are not always a good indicator as to age as they are notoriously hard to pinpoint to a mark and period piece.
