This is an 1877 book called "A Practical Treatise on the manufacture and distribution of Coal Gas"
The author is William Richards C.E.
and the publishers are E & FN Spon from London.
I have researched the internet about this book and all I am finding is a 2008 version of the book. I found this in the basement of my house I was living in. I am to find information about the publishers who I believe "maybe" out of business. I think its a cool find but I can't really do much with it.
The binder needs some work to preserve it YET all of the pages inside are intact along with lithographic drawings that detail the furnaces.
Any and all help on this book would be greatly appreciated!

I too have listed 2 old first editions books and all I can find is reprints. Hope you get answers.
Thank You for the feedback...Its a nice hard cover book and the lithographs are in great shape. I have been scrambling around trying to see if the publishers are in existence. Is there any way to track the old publishers like if someone bought them out or are they just shut down?
