I recently bought this at an auction and there is no maker name on it that I can see. Does it look familiar to anyone? It looks very old and it is very heavy. There are very few banjos here in Hawaii. Mahalo for any help.

If you haven't done so already, you might try removing the resonator and look on the inside for the manufacturer's name or some other information that might answer your question.
