I picked this item up at a yard sale because I liked the 2 horseshoes attached. Before I remove the horseshoes I would like to identify the item if anyone can tell me what it is.

      Don't do it! :)

Horse shoes are a dime a dozen. This on the other hand is something much more rare. What ever it is.

My first inclination was toward a "potty" chair but that hole looks small to me.
Does it fit a standard toilet seat?

      Bootson,
That was my first guess also but my wife emphatically denies it could be. Plus the legs don't look that they would be strong to support even a small child. I guess it will end up with some kind of plant in thye middle of it.

What good judgment, royce123. I might have guessed a child's booster seat had you not commented about the inability of the legs to support a child.
