More cool stuff from the Greeneville, Tn. book sale.... These are the coolest old magazines ever! The covers almost feel like the old construction paper we used in Sunday School as kids. Different artists of the time designed the covers and I've seen online where the covers are highly sought after by themselves.
These magazines were made for rich folks, note on the cover that the price is $1, and in 1934, that was quite a lot to spend on a magazine.
The coolest thing about these to me are the ads! The color is amazing! Check out the couple in the old car! Can't you picture yourself and your sweetie cruising around with the top down?
