Always loved this stamp - sort of like a Beatles album cover. This is the 1970s take on the environment... we know the environment's in trouble, but we're all kind of high so maybe it doesn't matter.
I liked the psychadelic design - come to find out it was done by now-widely-reviled-as-overly-commercial artist Peter Max. I still like it.

It's AWESOME and it has brought back such good memories. There was a Peter Max calendar that was designed to be colored in with markers (printed sometime in the 70's )that used to occupy my time in study hall, any idea where I could get a copy for old times sake?
no idea... sorry
Thanks anyway, I'm determined to find it tho...it's out there somewhere. Probably not worth a penny but priceless to me for the nostalgic value alone!
The stamp above is Scotts Cat.#1527. It appears in Golden Valley Minnesota Stamp Co. with a plate block value of $2.50 for a block of 12. Single mint issue is .20 and used is .20. There phone number is 763-544-4431 or 1-800-747-3144. As far as the calender I cant help you there as it is of the 1974 era and there are tons of ebay and craiglists that you might get lucky and find it .

In regards to that environmental calender you may find it at Petermax.com. Apparently he is also on Facebbok and Twitter. He also has another website that is called customerservice@petermax.com. Hope this info may help .
