My mother knows my great love of ugly dolls. Well, today at an estate sale, she found this. Wow this monkey is ugly as sin...missing his ears and face is cracked. What's left of his tag says Gund. Face is plastic. Anybody know his age?? Or if he has a name?

I am going to call you the " Homeless Shelter for dolls and plush toys " You save so many from being put to sleep :-) He is most likely from 50-60's . But his face is forever gone :-( Good for you for rescuing him now what to do with him ?????? Halloween maybe :-)
So ugly only a IT'S mother could love it, she's probably long gone so place him face down & run like hell! lol
To me, when I see old toys and dolls (like what I collect) I think of innocence/childhood lost. Its sad to me. They brought so much happiness to a little child, just to be discarded. I'll love them!
It's good that he has found a home, he served his purpose & deserves to live his life out in a nice home.
I love Monkey's I would adopt him. His is a very lucky monkey to have you taking care of him:)
