the pictures of the item shown is believed to be from the ming dynasty at least 400 years old it was incased in box i believe some where in the early 18th century the wood pedestal was also a factor as to the age it was incased, the blueing and the sterling silver dragons on front also the sides are believed to be ming dragons,also to help determine age. In the back ground is a silk canvas, the caractors are showen to be ancient asian chineese, the thread used has been dipped in gold with a magnifing glass you can see the gold that actually dripped from letter to letter any information would be helpful or someone we can contact also.
