I am looking for information on my Grandfather's bridge lamp. I was born in 1942 and it has always been in the family. I have seen other such lamps but none with all the red glass like material on the base and the stem. The figure on the bridge is also unusual or at least I have not seen one like it. My parents and my grandfather are all deceased so I have no knowledge of how old it is or how much value to put on it other than a treasured family keepsake. Any information would be appreciated.

eye4beauty,what type of shade do I need??
bsp307, if you look at my lamps it might give you an ideal of the shade that would look nice on this bridge lamp. I have several different examples. My shades were all hand made .
