Pepper and Salt set from the 1950's, from my parents old house made of bake-lite the white base could be a hard plastic or bake-lite. no makers name on them . BUT !!! they do have stamped on the base "Australian Defense Canteens". mass produced for the armed services here. they still have some salt and pepper in them. govt issue too??
