I would really like some information on these wooden dolls. They are quite old and hand carved. They are pin jointed and wearing hand made clothing. The male is wearing leather pants and jacket. I have had them for several years and they were given to me by an elderly English gentlemen. If anyone can shed any light on their origin I would be very appreciative.

I love your little dolls ! I have to say I am not sure who made them . My first thought is German doll house dolls but they look more like character dolls . More a novelty than a toy . Something to display . They are precious . How tall are they that would help and a close up of face. The hands being made as they are lean be toward Poland made . So many possibilities. They are not common to find and appear to be from 1920-1940 .
It came to me they maybe Punch and Judy dolls . I will do a bit of research ok
I can not exclude Shoenhut doll at this point
I love them!
