Hoping there is a collector that can give me a bit of advise. I have an old Pflueger 1993L reel, do not want to sell it but would like to display it.
1. It has a rubber "guard" on the side opposite the crank. I have not seen this on any reels of this model. It is in bad shape and I would like to replace it. Does anyone know where to find one?
2. Can the reel be cleaned, polished for display without diminishing its value? Thanks, Jim
