These came to us from my husband's grandmother after she passed away. We don't know much about them other than she found them in Iran while traveling there in the 1950s. They are both very similar though one is a little bigger than the other and has a slightly darker color.
Does anyone know anything about these that they could share? We sadly don't have a lot of information about her trip there but would love it if anyone knew where they came from so we could piece together where she was during that time.
Thank you!

In case the measurements are important: One is 35"x67 1/2" and the other is 42 3/4 " x 91 1/2". I can't tell what the material is but the edging looks like hair of some sort.
