I'm trying to find out about this ring. I was told it was given out to long time safety conductors for Union Pacific. Anyone know what it's worth and may be when it's from??

I worked for the UP during the 70s and 80s in South Texas. Specifically the Kingsville Division. The ring was part of a safety award program in the mid 80s. There was a catalog of items to choose from and an employee would receive a 'ticket' every quarter for working without an injury. I saved up four tickets and chose the ring.
What is it worth you ask? Not a hell of lot as the metal is, pewter, I think. However, depending on the size and condition, I would part with a $100.00 bill for one. My ex wife somehow ended up with mine and insists she doesn't have it. Liar. Sorry, I digress.
