I found this in an antique/vintage/junk shop in Cold Spring, NY. Cold Spring is full of antique shops, but most of them are somewhat repetitive and cater only to a rather upscale clientele (read: not me). This store, whose name I regrettably can't remember, is more like a warehouse, full of clothing, furniture, housewares, and random, random things. Over the years, I've picked up comic books by the guy who created the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before he pinned down the collection of words that would be marketable, old family photos for various art projects, and my mom got a pair of sequined slippers for about $2.
This pin was cute. That's...pretty much all the thought process that went into it's purchase. It's large, about two inches in diameter, so I don't wear it much, and it has what appears to be some moisture damage and discoloration. But I like it anyway.
