I recieved this framed print from my grandmother shortly before she passed away at 100 years old; she was an antique dealer for many years, I don't know much about it; the frame is 28'' x 34'' and very old, just below the print it reads PHOTOGRAPHED AND COPYRIGHT BY M.B.PARKINSON, N.Y.1891 and below that in larger print it reads DON'T BE AFRAID it is beautiful!

Rick,
I am here in Washington, MO and I too have a print of this. I have also tried researching and so many other prints have information by this artist but cannot find info on this particular print. My print was not kept well at all and mine is also only in Black & White, not color. PS, I would post a picture of it but I don't know how, I am new to this site. I will keep you in mind if I ever find more information about "Don't be afraid" and I too hope you will do the same. Good Luck to both of us.
