I found these latch hook rug at a local thrift store a number of years ago and wondered if I could get more information on it. It is appx. 28 by 17 inches. I think the yarn is cotton. On the back border is burlap which is probably excess from finishing. The rug must have been washed and the red dye from the strips has bled into the white strips and now they are kinda pink. Wondered if that said something about the dye itself - wasn't color fast. I would love to know the approximate age of the rug and if it has any value. Thanks for any potential possible help....
