I recently purchased this decanter and could really use guidance on the type of glass it is or era it was made in It has impressions/denting in the top glass plug and the vase has some impressions or denting...possibly tool marks? The plug is glass and the the top of the plug is scalloped but the pinches are different sizes. There is a rough pontil mark on the bottom. The decanter approximately 11" with the plug and 7 3/4 without the plug. The width of the base is 3" and the widest part of the decanter is approximately 7" in width. The glass is a strange but pretty smoky gray/green and when I hold it up to a light, I can see through it. When I look through it in the light, I see hues of amber. Any help with any identifiers would be greatly appreciated.
