It has vinyl arms and a plaid fabric area for sitting/sleeping area. It kind-of flips and then folds down flat for sleeping area. It was my grandmothers and I'm not sure what era it is from. I remember it from when I was little. Maybe be from the 30's. The tag says Simmons, 5511 5th Ave. Kenosha, WI Patt. #UL 537 4327, Cover 5608.
