I found this absolutely beautiful cabinet at a thrift store in The Netherlands. It's in such great condition that I thought it must be an antique knock-off. It contains two hidden drawers with false bottoms. The front hinges and lock mechanism are wrought iron and it still has the key. The inside is finished out and, other than some dust, is perfectly clean and without any weathering at all. My German landlord, who deals in antiques sometimes, came to see it tonight and informed us that it was probably made in the 1800's. The drawers are dove tailed and it contains nails and wooden pegs to hold it all together. There are no screws on this piece. My husband and I cannot find any information on anything similar to this piece online. If anyone has any information on this piece or something similar to it, please contact me @ leog47@hotmail.com. Thank you! Phil and Julie Coffman
