This is quite the find but I really don't know where it came from originally or what backround . it stands quite tall of at least 18 inches. I wanted to show a close up of the people on it because that makes this interesting. I like the handles and color. early 1900's ?

Hi, it's a rare red vase that get's my "love", but I had to love this one. The hand painted scene is very well executed, and the subject matter quite interesting. Are there any hallmarks on the bottom?

I would have to unpack it to see if any markings .

Unfortunately, assuming high-quality design and execution, the backstamp (hallmarks are for metal objects) is the difference between a $500 vase and a $5,000 vase. You would do well to unpack it and post a pic of the bottom, along with a closeup of the edge of the painted scene so we could see both the quality of the brushwork and the gilding.

I clicked on the picture and it brought me to an enlarged picture window on my computer which is a good feature for Collectors weekly.
