Iam wondering if you can tell me about this Record Player. My Grandfather traded a couple loads of fire wood in 1950's for this piece and has kept it inside ever since. It is in great shape on the outside and work perfectly to be near 100 years old. I bought this from grand dad last year and i gave him $100 for it. I know the Spider-leg or spindle leg was not a very popular model back then and only 15,000 were produced. Does that help or hurt? Also i have several 78 records that came with it the ones shown have the paper jackets and i have a Earnest Tubb record with no jacket. All play well and sound incredible. Any thing you can tell mewould be a great help.
