Bought this at a garage sale about 3 years ago. It had been painted white and the lady claimed it was her husband's when he was little- so that would make it about 60-70 years old.
I probably should not have painted it. It has two little drawers that pull-out. One has a crack in it (my fault) and the knobs were a brassy color I think- before I painted it. It has slots for letters.
What is the name for a desk of this type when it is full size? That would really help tremdously in my search. I'm not sure the bottom and top were originally together.
