A nice Jade pendent carved into a fish chasing its tail. perhaps it is a fish CARP swallowing its tail, an endless cycle . The Carp fish is a considered a sign of luck.
Jade in ancient China was worn by their owners. The more jade you wore the richer you were and this implied a high status.
They rattled the jade pendents on their body when entering a house. This was a way to introduce yourself and show off to others how rich you were.
Believed a modern repro , but still a nice item to look at and hold.
