This is a set of 5 bludgeon decanters in the gothic style with spire stoppers, circa 1850-60. They are 14 inches high.
Bludgeon is the proper name to describe this type of decanter from this period, but they could be used for this purpose. These are monster decanters and look great on a silver tray.
In the world of decanters a pair of decanters is theoretically worth 3 times as much as a single. On that basis these are worth quite a bit and if I can get to 10 of them I should be able to sell them and retire, but I doubt is works like that.
