A tapered Georgian decanters with a ball and mushroom stopper, circa 1800.
This a new purchase with crossover design features to help date it. By 1800 the tapered decanters were losing out to classic and Prussian decanters. This type of stopper is an early mushroom circa 1800-10. The fluting around the base came around 1780 and ran to sort of 1815-1820. The cut panels to the shoulder don't really start until 1800. It's a really nice decanter too.
