I got this print today. I'm not sure of any details. I think I see "Prayer" written on it. The scary thing is, it looks just like me. Anyone know anything about it? The tag said the original painting was from 1904. Help!

I wasn't going to buy it, at first, then I got to thinking...it's not every day you see a 109 year old version of yourself in an antique store.

Great picture but I think the date is wrong do to the lack of head covering on a female praying would of caused problems; the Christian faith has long been criticized for the general superiority complex of males. North America at the start of the 20th century, women in all mainstream Christian denominations wore head coverings during prayer and to paint a female without would be extreamly taboo in society. Just my opinion; it's a great picture and one I have never seen before. Do love art.
