This bottle was found in the woods in Minnesota. Its a quart sized bottle. There is a design on the bottle in a diamond pattern meaning it looks like a press molding of some kind. The cap is rusting, but I believe it says BENZ on it (see picture). It also has 2 flat places I assume are for labels. Embossed on the bottle is "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR REUSE OF THIS BOTTLE". I've been told it is therefore post 1935 and may come from the 60's. I'm wondering if anyone could tell me a better approximation or anything else about the bottle or the BENZ cap. Thanks!

They made whiskey, bitters, and a variety of things. Bottles with that warning were made between 1932 and 1964. My guess would be closer to 1932, than 1964.

Btw, its a whiskey bottle, because of that warning.
